Current status: Business Profile Management is planned and is not available. Teletools does not currently request Google Account access for this service.
Planned use
If the service launches, Teletools will request only the Google authorization needed to let an authorized merchant hear or manage their Business Profile through the telephone service. Teletools will use that access only to provide requested profile-management features, maintain security, provide support, and keep an audit record of requested changes.
Teletools will not ask for a merchant's Google password. A merchant may be required to sign in directly with Google and approve Google's consent screen.
Revoking future access
If Google authorization is introduced, merchants will be able to revoke Teletools through their Google Account's third-party connections settings. They will also be able to ask Teletools to disconnect their account by emailing support@teletools.ca.
Deleting future data
Merchants will be able to request deletion of eligible Google Account and Business Profile information held by Teletools through the Data Requests page. Records reasonably required for security, completed transactions, audit, disputes, or legal obligations may be retained.
